In 1987, Art McCafferty took a camera crew to Sylvan Resort in Gaylord to tape the Grand Opening festivities of Treetops and the Robert Trent Jones Masterpiece course. At that 1987 event, Jack Berry, Terry Moore, and Treetops new head professional, Rick Smith, interviewed golf architect Robert Trent Jones. This week's show is the first of a three part interview with Mr. Jones. Part I deals with the spread of golf throughout the world. Parts II and III will air July 20 and 27.
