Elaine Crosby played on the University of Michigan ıs varsity team, played in numerous national amateur events, winning the Michigan Womenıs Amateur in ı81, then a Futures Tour Event before joining the LPGA Tour in 1985. Her next five years, 1990 ­ 94,saw her achieve more than a dozen top 10 finishes and a half a dozen top 3 finishes including three runners-up at the Lady Keystone Open, prior to winning this tournament in 1994.
