Everett Kircher 1916-2002 Michigan Skier TV Show January 25, 2002

Michigan skiers, and indeed skiers worldwide, lost a true friend January 16, 2002, when Boyne USA founder Everett Kircher passed away at age 85. Kircher was not only the owner of Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands, but an innovator in snowmaking and chairlift design. Perhaps more important than that, however, was his desire to make every ski day for every skier a positive experience. His vision and spirit will be missed.

Michigan Skier TV host Jim Neff interviewed Everett Kircher in the summer of 2001. In Part III of this interview, Mr. Kircher tells us about Boyne's contribution to chairlift design.
